Program Description
Volunteers will be able to be engaged with Gender related issues, advocacy against domestic violence, literacy programs, and community economic empowerment with the Community Transforming Network (CTN). We seek to gear projects towards underprivileged communities in urban and rural areas around Uganda at a grassroots level.
Responsibilities:
• Carrying out community outreach programs that benefit CTN beneficiaries
• Communication with partners and linking CTN to potential Partners through emails, face book, and any other internet social media
• Organizing meetings and training forums
• Report writing
• Drafting proposals
•Updating Drafting articles for CTN website
• Any other duties assigned by the the Project Coordinator/Executive Director.
About working schedule: Your are expected to work from 9:00am – 5:00pm, from Monday to Friday (though this can be flexible and can change depending on the situation/ the need).
We invite individuals from across the globe who are willing and able to work with us at a volunteer level to aid more transformation in people’s lives.

Qualifications
Volunteers need to have skills and experience in fundraising for development projects from trusts and foundations.Volunteers with excellent research skills, proposal writing and knowledge on Community Development have an advantage.
