Travel to the magnificent Western Cape in South Africa with us for an unforgettable volunteering experience within a pre-school in a local township. On this inspiring social project, you will assist teachers at a day-care centre to help provide the local children with better quality education and care, and in your free time you will be able to relax and enjoy the stunning beach resort of the Strand.
During this valuable project you will help to take care of babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers, and will take an active role in assisting the teachers at the centre with their classes. As the children are very young, you will get the chance to be involved in lots of fun activities including, telling stories, singing, playing, and helping them explore crafts, arts and music. Volunteering at this pre-school will be an extremely rewarding experience, as extra help is always needed and you will surely learn a lot about the South African culture, teaching and yourself.
You will work Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm, so you will have plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful local area and travel to famous sights and attractions. Your volunteer apartment will be situated on the beach front of the gorgeous golden, sandy beach resort of the Strand, so you will have plenty of opportunities to relax here.
