Mente Argentina- Medical/Public Health Volunteer Program
Program Description
Volunteer in some of the best clinics, hospitals, and research institutions in Buenos Aires. You will be aiding in patient care and assisting nursing staff. Volunteers will be expected to gather data as they investigate community and clinical health issues such as pandemics and rare diseases.
Volunteers will be given the opportunity to watch surgeries and participate in rounds with the staff. They will also assist with public health outreach initiatives and education. Learn more about the field of international health as you build your experience, increase your network, and work on your teamwork.
Volunteers will be impressed by how quickly their Spanish skills improve as they are immersed in the local language and culture. Volunteers can also choose to enroll in an intensive language course from Mente Argentina.
