Child Care Program

Program Description

Volunteer with this public care center that provides kindergarten and preschool classes as well as child care services. You will be caring for children and small babies in north Cartagena in the Torices neighborhood. This is only 10 minutes away from the airport and close to the downtown area.

Children come in each day aged 18 month to 5 years old and we provide them with a daily lunch and a nutrition program. You will help in the kitchens, play games, assist with pre-school classes, and feed the children.

We also provide training to single mothers on hygiene, nutrition, and childcare.

*From June 25 to July 15, this center is closed.

Typical shift work can be: 7:30am - 4:00pm with a break for lunch
Support: Local ABV Director support 24/7 during placement
Departure: ABV Staff Escorted Airport Transfer
