Job Description:
The SAT Teacher is responsible for ensuring student achievement at the highest levels.
Responsibilities include one on one and seminar class instruction for Writing, Critical Reading, and/or Math/Science sections and evaluating student progress.

Essential duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
 Teach group classes and 1 on 1 lessons
 Provide tutoring for assigned individuals
 Approx. 20 teaching hours / week (not including prep time)
 Lesson planning, keeping track of students’ progress in class via progress
reports
 Providing guidance for students during work time
 Help to develop additional strategies for improving students’ performance
 Student progress conference evaluation and assessment
 Assist in training other teachers
 Performing other duties as needed
Requirements:
Requirements:
 At least a B.A./B.S. from a top university
 Previous teaching experience (> 2 years preferably)
 Native-level English reading, writing, and speaking ability
 Chinese language ability is a plus
 700/800 on SAT I Writing, Critical Reading, & Math preferred
 700/800 on relevant SAT II Subject Tests preferred
 A self-starter capable of thriving in a fast-paced, fluid start-up environment
 A proven team-player who can work effectively with people with diverse
backgrounds and experiences
 Evidence of leadership potential and a stated interest in growing as a
professional
 Excellent communication skills
 Patience
