Education Content Creator

Job Description:
The Test Prep Research and Development team at EIC Education, a leader in the Chinese education market, is looking for content creators.

The primary job objective of content creators is to become fluent in standardized test styles and subject matters and to produce questions and explanations testing the same skills and knowledge.

Essential duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
• Writing and editing standardized test items modeled on actual tests
• Producing written explanations of standardized test items and textbooks
• Other educational writing and curriculum development tasks
• Other proofreading and editing tasks

WORK LOCATION AND HOURS
This is a full-time position based in downtown Shanghai. Employees in the Test Prep R&D team work standard office hours, approximately 10:00-18:00, Monday to Friday.
Requirements:
• Previous educational experience a plus (B.A., or B.Sc. minimum requirement)
• Successful candidates must score well on EIC’s Candidate Application Test
• Ideal candidates will possess excellent English writing skills and comprehensive knowledge of grammar
• Strong analytical skills, paired with intellectual curiosity
• Interest in and enjoyment of written English or standardized testing is highly desirable
• Creativity—specifically, the ability to write original test material
• A self-starter capable of thriving in a fast-paced, fluid environment
• A proven team player who can work effectively with people with diverse backgrounds and experiences
• Teaching experience is desirable
(Senior Content Creator only):
• At least three-years’ experience in test-specific content development or a related field
• Proven ability to write high-quality, high-accuracy test items
• Able to serve as a model and exemplar to other content creators
