Position: Full time English language teacher

We are looking for motivated and creative individuals who are interested in being instructors at a modern school for young learners. Our team currently has 5 foreign instructors and you would be responsible for teaching students from 4 to 18 years of age. This school features small classes and students are placed through an exam prior to beginning the school so that English levels match. You will be able to thrive in this supportive environment as EF Qingdao provides professional support.

Qingdao is a beautiful city that faces the Yellow Sea and is situated on the southern tip of the Shandong Peninsula. A coastal city, it has fascinating architecture and an impressive array of events and tourist attractions throughout the year. Tasty seafood is a staple as is Tsingtao Beer.

There is abundant natural beauty and even held the 2008 Sailing Regattas for the 29th Olympic Games.

Main Responsibilities
• Attending social events at the centre
• Carrying out responsibilities for teaching such as presentations, seminars, tutorials, conversations clubs, and demonstration classes
• Assisting in interviewing and placing new students
• Cooperating with the DOS and CM to ensure efficient operation and constructive communication
• Using video / audio materials in classes
• Planning lessons
• Maximum of 20 hours teaching each week
