Education Consultant

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:

-Education consultants will be responsible for researching and understanding the college admission landscape and most importantly, working with our students to guide them through the application process. We also provide extracurricular planning and academic advising services to younger students who are not yet ready to apply for colleges.
-Our consultants strive to understand each student and help them showcase their talents and potential.
-Evaluating potential majors, choosing their ideal college(s), assisting with the creation and development of admissions essays, and helping students to develop as "whole persons" are all part of our process.

Responsibilities:

-Provide consulting service to students and their families
Supervise all applications and steps in the process, ensuring quality and completion.
-Assist in academic advising and planning of activities for younger students.
-Execute and manage Consulting Strategic Direction.
-Provide regular reports and updates to Consulting Manager and Center Managers.
-Assist center manager in tasks related to consulting clients (marketing, sales, and service).
-Participate in weekly meetings with the consulting team.
-Play key role in sales, marketing and promotional seminars.
Requirements:
Job Requirements:

-A Bachelor degree or above from a top US university
-Being able to work 40+ hours/week, including weekends when necessary.
-Strong writing and editing skills.
-Strong public speaking and communication abilities.
-Passion for working with young people.
-Commitment to education and personal development.
-Commitment to customer service.
-Flexibility in workplace location (primarily based in Beijing or Shenzhen).
-Willingness to travel depending on business needs.
-Proficiency in Mandarin is a big plus.
