Fancy spending your summer in Italy working in an English summer camp?
We are looking for people who love being outside in the fresh air, ready to take charge in many different situations, but mostly that love working with children. The camp requires a hands on person, ready to participate and contribute in all daily activities. The morning activities are craft based to accommodate all different needs of children. We need to keep it fun and light.

Desired Skills and Experience

Our English Summer Camp tries to create an environment through which children can experience learning English through play-based activities.
Our mornings are set up in a way in which children of different ages can feel free to explore the surroundings, always supervised by the tutors. Children are divided in appropriate age groups, but can be at times mixed ages. By dividing children in this way, we ensure the best learning environment, with age appropriate activities and material. Each group is followed by a number of tutors according to the number of children.
Tutors will be provided with a guideline of the weekly subjects with an appropriate planning created to fit children’s needs and age. All children are to be considered EFL children (English as foreign language) , not having much experience with an English speaking environment. Their English is basic, and they need a lot of help and prompting while competing the various activities, for this part you will need to be very patient. Although we provide a detailed planning and the weekly themes are already decided, we very much appreciate your input.
By doing so we feel the connection between the execution of the project/activity and the children is much stronger, your ideas are important to us and we want you to feel comfortable while executing the various projects. For this reason, we will send you a copy of our initial ideas and will ask if you feel comfortable adding your input, to make it a collective and more effective project.
In a similar way we structure the afternoon.
After lunch some children will need to do their homework, and for this part our Italian speaking tutors will assist.
