== We are looking for UX Designer ==

The role would require collaboration within all the areas and a cross functional approach for all the areas of design. Location would be in Shanghai China and the collaboration would support the design department activities as planned in the roadmaps.

As User experience is a key player in the market and seen as one of the most important thing to differ in the market close collaboration with Service Designers is needed. User experience (UX) focuses on having a deep understanding of users, what they need, what they value, their abilities, and also their limitations. It also takes into account the business goals and objectives of the group managing the project. UX best practices promote improving the quality of the user’s interaction with and perceptions of your product and any related services.

As a Graphical UI Designer in the UX team you will be working with digital product graphics, transition and printed material. UX Design team is part of the Concepts, Design Services and Solutions R&D department. Graphical user interface designer is responsible of maintaining the KONE Global visual elements and creating amazing graphics in world class visual style. You will be part of KONE Design department in Shanghai with global responsibility. As a team member you will be working together with the Interaction, usability and service designers.

== Main Responsibilities ==

- Support in creating graphical component to projects e.g. icons, visual mockups and animations;
- Support R&D projects with UX and visual design;
- Support the China Design global approach and to see and report market trends;
- Work in close co-operation with other UX specialists, graphical user interface designers, technology experts as well as other KONE teams;
- Work in close collaboration as a team member of the UX team;

Ux Designer (user Experience Designer)

UX designers are primarily concerned with how the product feels. A given design problem has no single right answer. UX designers explore many different approaches to solving a specific user problem. The broad responsibility of a UX designer is to ensure that the product logically flows from one step to the next. One way that a UX designer might do this is by conducting in-person user tests to observe one's behavior. By identifying verbal and non-verbal stumbling blocks, they refine and iterate to create the "best" user experience.

INTERACTION DESIGN (IXD)
Defines the structure and behavior of interactive systems. Interaction designers strive to create meaningful relationships between people and the products and services that they use, from computers to mobile devices to appliances and beyond. Our practices are evolving with the world. Interaction design is a process in which designers focus on creating engaging web interfaces with logical and thought out behaviors and actions. Successful interactive design uses technology and principles of good communication to create desired user experiences.

USER RESEARCH
focuses on understanding user behaviors, needs, and motivations through observation techniques, task analysis, and other feedback methodologies.

SERVICE DESIGN
The main goal is to understand the customer and to figure out new ways to implement ideas to the market.
Requirements:
We Expect You To Have
Skills, Education and Experience

Education:
- Bachelor degree or above in Design, Industrial Design, UI Design. Professionals earning degrees in engineering, technical or creative disciplines with strong software development or UI/UX experience will also be considered.

Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience on UI/UX design, and working in cross-functional team is preferred;
- Ability to creatively solve problems;
- Have a high energy and possess an innovative mindset;
- Good interpersonal and leadership skills;
- Excellent Chinese and English communication skills for speaking, reading, and writing;
- Self-motivated and able to handle pressure;
- Customer focus, result driven;
