Mathematics teacher for G3-G6

Job Description:
Overview of Responsibilities:
• Lead daily teaching and learning activities of the subject
• Coordinate with other teachers according to students’ needs
• Research and co-develop interdisciplinary curriculum with other teachers
• Coach, train or co-teach with other teachers, or provide other professional support as
needed
• Organize and participate in routine faculty meetings and research activities,
collecting feedback on student performance from colleagues
• Develop PD programs or student programs on specific topics as needed
• Other duties as assigned by school administration
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree and above in education or subject related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in subject teaching preferably in elementary schools
• Familiar with teaching methods and theories of education
• Feel comfortable working in a multicultural environment
• Commitment to a standards-based curriculum model
• Creativity and problem-solving skills
• Open to integrating technology into teaching and learning
• Experience with interdisciplinary curriculum development is preferred
• Vision of a learning community
• Student-centered philosophy
