Job Description:
Based in Beijing and available now, the role has two aspects – sales and operations.

Sales Aspect
- To take a sales request from a client and to work this into a functioning itinerary;
- To effectively suggest further customization for clients’ itineraries e.g. suggesting value added services for clients;
- To revise itineraries as needed;
- To cost and price the itinerary, and take responsibility for those numbers;
- To liaise a final itinerary and price with the client;
- To draft all the required files needed internally to operate the tour flawlessly;
- To double-check the bookings, reservations, documents and workings of other Itinerary Designers so as to ensure error free tour operations.

Operational Aspect
- To oversee and perform, as and when needed, the correct booking of all aspects of the tour prior to its operation;
- To oversee the booking process, as and when needed, e.g. deposit, full payment; communication with customers;
- To prepare funds for the tour;
- To prepare and keep updated the various files for the tour;
- To brief the Groundhandling Manager, guides, tour leaders for the tour;
- To function as the office point of contact for tours for which you have responsibility;
- To manage interactions with guests;
- To lobby for the successful completion of the tour within Imperial Tours’ office;
- To successfully operate tours;
- To successfully resolve problems;
- Potentially, to take a role in the Crisis Management Team, in the event of an emergency.
Requirements:
- University degree;
- Excellent English;
- Good Chinese;
- Excellent familiarity of western mind set;
- Over 26;
- 3 years’ experience within China;
- Passion and commitment for China;
- Detail focus;
- Travel and/or service background valued;
- Responsible attitude; trustworthy.
