English Language Arts Teacher

We have recently experienced significant growth in academic programs which focus on
literature, writing, speech and debate, and are looking to hire instructors who can join our fastgrowing English Language Arts team. Instructors will promote and teach programs for highachieving students in elementary to low high school levels in a variety of courses focused on
literature, language and leadership. Duties as an instructor include, but are not limited to, managing
small classroom discussions, facilitating group learning activities, providing one-on-one academic
support, and giving timely and useable feedback on student assignments. This teaching opportunity
will give instructors the chance to develop and provide educational programs that teach our students
lifelong success.
Our English Language Arts (ELA) programs have been redesigned for expansion to multiple
cities in China. Program instructors who display exceptional work ethic will be given the
opportunity to gain experience in product development, marketing, and potentially management.
Job Description:
Approximately 60 hours of teaching per month
Assistance in R&D and participation in marketing seminars
Two days off per week (workdays may vary from weekday to weekend depending on
academic seasons)
Requirements:
Bachelor’ s Degree
Previous Teaching Experience
Strong writing background
A self-starter capable of thriving in a fast-paced, fluid start-up environment
A proven team player that can work effectively with a diverse group of people
Evidence of leadership potential and a desire for professional growth
Excellent communication skills
Minimum one-year commitment
