Program Description
Welcome to Curaçao, where the abundant reefs and pristine waters will be your classroom as you embark on a journey to learn and employ research methodologies used by marine biologists in the field. In this adventure, aspiring marine biologists will utilize the latest techniques and tools to design and conduct ecological experiments alongside professional researchers; this is your chance to experience the scientific method first-hand while based at the largest tropical field station in the Southern Caribbean. Make your contribution to a cutting edge pilot project on coral reef biodiversity by analyzing data you collect as you snorkel and dive the island’s famous marine reserves.
