Start this intensive academic program by whitewater rafting down the Pacuare River, followed by a trek to a breathtaking butterfly sanctuary. Next, strengthen your conversational Spanish skills and immerse yourself in Tico culture through the countries favorite sport, soccer, and during your home stay with a gracious Costa Rican family. For your final adventure, give back by working with local Nicaraguans on service projects in the community, then take a break to visit a Nicaraguan volcano and experience another home stay, this time in a friendly beachside town on the island of Ometepe.
