Pre-Health Shadowing Internships
Program Description
At Tai Global Elective you will shadow healthcare providers in their work environment for at least 25 hours a week, you will be availed with mentorship and supervision as well as guided observational learning that helps you gain insight into the healthcare profession. With healthcare professionals in developing world who practice and deliver care with limited resources, un-advanced equipment and heavy patient load you have a sure bet to kick start your healthcare career.
With us you walk closely with the healthcare providers across several specialties among them, general/internal medicine, accidents and emergency, pediatrics and child health, obstetrics and gynecology, surgery departments as well as the dental unit. Requirements for placement:Has to be a student of a health related undergraduate degree
Over 18 years of age
Proof of academic qualification or enrolment verification certificate
Participant must not have any criminal record
Valid passport with at least 6 months to expiry from the date of commencement of program

What`s Included
All pre-departure support from our teamHospital placement fees, this is paid directly to the hospital as part of the requirements for registration
Airport pick-up on arrival and drop-off on departure
Mentorship, Hospital and Local Area Orientation which includes a City/Town Tour of the program location
Volunteer activities planned twice a week i.e. for both cultural integration and giving back to the communities like visiting children homes
Accommodation in our student house sharing a room with a maximum of 3 participants in separate beds
Three Meals a day including clean bottled drinking water i.e. breakfast, lunch and dinner all Chef prepared
