USAC Spain: Bilbao / Getxo
Program Description
Students interested in developing a bilingual or international business career are welcome to join the Bilbao / Getxo program. Study International Business or Spanish Language and Cultural Studies with a yearlong or semester program. Students enrolled in the intensive language course will be able to complete the equivalent of multiple courses in only one semester. There is also the opportunity to engage in an internship program.
One of the best aspects of studying abroad is to be immersed in the local culture of the Basque region. There are a wide range of field trips to economic, artistic, historic, and social sites. You will also be paired with a local conversational partner to help you network with the local community.
There are a range of art galleries and class museums in Bilbao. Enjoy a modern airport and fantastic music halls. This city was awarded the Lee Kuan Yew World City Prize for livability and sustainability.
