Summer Study Abroad in Dublin
Program Description
When: JUNE 18-JULY 23, 2016
Courses take place that the IBAT campus which is situated in the Temple Bar district in Dublin. This is a new and high tech campus and classes include site visits and excursions around the city. Students can enroll in a range of courses including:
Screening Ireland: Irish Film into the 21st Century
Transatlantic Currents: Ireland and America in the Modern Era
Myth Legend and Folklore Exploring Early Irish Literature
Applied Research in Irish History
Students can venture to Dublin Castle, Kilmanhaim Gaol, Trinity College, and the GAA museum as a part of this program. Students are also able to go on a weekend trip to areas of Ireland outside of Dublin.
Students will live in a homestay with a local Irish family in Dublin. Students are able to enjoy home-cooked breakfasts and dinners and have a supportive home environment while enjoying their autonomy.
