- I spent 9 weeks at Daktari and it was the best experience of my life. The animals are really beautiful and you learn so many things about them. The children are really cute and kind. The staff and directors are really helpful and friendly, they are always here for you. You can do amazing excursions during your stay like game drives for example. If you want to do a volunteer experience in South Africa I recommend this one !
