French + Ski/Snowboard/Activity Courses

Program Description

Alpine French School offers a wide range of French + Activity Courses.

In the winter, enjoy skiing and snowboarding or other mountain activities such as snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, telemarking outside of your French lessons. We are based in the heart of a beautiful traditional Alpine ski resort just minutes walk from the ski lifts so you can be on the mountain within minutes of leaving the classroom!

In the summer, the town is just as lively and beautiful as in the winter. Ski-lifts transform to lifts used by mountain bikers, hikers and paragliders to whisk them up to the mountain-tops. We offer a range of French courses combined with summer activities:

Mountain Biking (Downhill or Cross Country, the trails here are world-class)
Hiking (a huge range of hikes to choose from, we offer a 4-day discover package)
Paragliding (courses available for beginners or improvers)
Cycling (guided road-biking on the mountain climbs of the Tour de France!)
Climbing (combine traditional climbing different routes with Via Ferrata and Canyoning)
Water sports (try rafting, white-water swimming, canyoning, wind-surfing, kayaking....)
Multi-Activity (if you just want to have a go and sample some of the adventure activities the area has to offer)

- Activities: your activities will be taught in French by instructors who know that you are learning the language and will help you along the way. We organise any equipment, lift-passes and transport needed.
- Accommodation: your hosts either in your host-family, your residence, hotel or apartment will be there to answer your questions, chat to you in French and help you settle into life in Morzine.
- Friendly French Scheme: our partnership with local businesses ensures you a warm welcome around town and you will be encouraged to speak French when you are out and about.
