Program Description

Social Impact Journeys are week-long curated expeditions of discovery, insights and reciprocation in India. The journeys will give you a deeper understanding of how to use your own talent and energy to better the local community, country and the world! Join a group of 20 inspiring individuals on this immersive saga to understand Sustainable Development Goals and the untapped power of social impact in India.

Who is this journey for?
- On A Career Break/Looking For An Alternative Career: Feeling stuck in your current job but lack the motivation to look for a new one? You will come out of this journey with greater clarity and sense of purpose.
-  Interested In International Development: You will be trained by experts and be able to work with local communities and see your personal inputs be put into action.
- Want To Transition To Social Impact Space: You will receive thorough training in the social innovation space, and be equipped with resources and opportunities to embark on a new path for yourself.

Highlights

Immersions will be led by subject matter experts and Mentors-in-Residence who are seasoned professionals and thought leaders in their respective fields. You will learn about global issues, local issues and more confident about your role as a changemaker.

What`s Included

We aim to cover a wide range of social development issues in India, so that participants can make the most of their experience. Therefore, participants will learn from subject matter experts specializing in women’s empowerment, sustainable livelihood, education and sustainable farming. An added perk is a one-on-one leadership coaching session with an international leadership coach from Toronto and a village visit! The fees go towards covering our operations costs for on ground activities, trainer fees, in city travel, meals etc. We are unable to cover the cost of flights to Mumbai.
