IÉSEG School of Management is one of the top Business Schools in France, ranked 5th in France and 17th overall in the Financial Times Masters in Management 2016 ranking.

As a French Grande École and member of the Conférence des Grandes Écoles, IÉSEG is part of the most prestigious higher education institutions in the country. It is also awarded with the international accreditations EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA.

IÉSEG is part of Université Catholique de Lille, which, by its organization, size, infrastructure, resources and quality is very similar to some famous British universities.

Established in 1964 in Lille, the school has a second campus in Paris – La Défense, European biggest business hub. With its two campuses, the School counts more than 4800 students.

At IÉSEG, students have access to the 5-year Grande École Program: A 3-year Bachelor program covering the fundamentals of management followed by a 2-year MSc program in which the students deepen their management knowledge and choose a specialization. The diploma approved by the French Ministry of Education has also been awarded the grade de Master (Master’s degree).

In addition, IÉSEG offers Bachelor, Post-Graduate and MBA programs entirely taught in English.

More than 80% of IÉSEG’s faculty is international, and the School has a network of more than 262 partner universities in more than 66 countries.

IÉSEG collaborates closely with the largest institute for basic research in Europe, the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS).

One school – 2 campuses – Lille and Paris

The first and main IÉSEG campus is situated in the heart of Lille, known as a "student-city" and a dynamic one. With over 100.000 students, Lille is the 2nd largest University City in France. The Paris campus: location- in the “Grande Arche de la Défense”, the heart of the business district.

Lille Campus

IÉSEG’s facilities (classrooms, multimedia centres, cafeterias and offices) are accessible to students 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All students have an ID card with a magnetic strip that allows for individual access.

More than 200 computer workstations connected to the Internet are available to students and faculty.

The Vauban University Library (Bibliothèque Universitaire Vauban) has over 400,000 books and more than 6 000 journal subscriptions, making it a modern research centre with state-of-the-art electronic resources.

Paris Campus

IÉSEG’s modern campus in Paris is located in the iconic Grande Arche building, at the heart of the business district of La Défense.

The Paris Campus consists of 3 buildings of a total of 9,000 m² (97,000 sq ft), and provides students with 20 lecture halls, 20 classrooms, 3 multimedia rooms, a trading room, a library, a cafeteria and meeting rooms for clubs and associations.

At IÉSEG we have a student run club dedicated to incoming international students called The international Club Lille and Paris and this club offers support to international students and organises events during the orientation week and the semester. They are in charge of the Buddy System, orientation week, the International Gala and the Farewell Ceremony.

The International Clubs arrange regular events, to create links between French and international students, such as Language Cafés (where everyone can come and talk with people in various languages), visits, parties, sporting activities, exhibitions (and more). These are organized all year long to make international students live the life of an IÉSEG student and discover the French way of life. They also organize trips to French and European cities and regions such as to London, Berlin, Brussels, Reims, Chateaux de la Loire, etc.

Accreditations and Rankings

Accreditations

The IÉSEG degree is approved by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, which has also granted it the label “Grade Master”. IÉSEG is a non-profit school under contract with the state.

EQUIS accreditation

IÉSEG is the first French post-baccalaureate business school to be accredited by the EQUIS label (European Quality Improvement System).

This label is a reference for excellence and highlights outstanding management schools for the quality of their teaching, their innovations, research and for their relations with the business world.

AACSB accreditation

“Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business “is an American organization which awarded IÉSEG with the AACSB accreditation in 2013.

AACSB rewards business schools for the quality of their management training, based on the academic level of teachers, the relevance of the educational process and the means implemented to allow students to conduct their studies.

AMBA accreditation

The Association of MBAs uses rigorous assessment criteria to ensure that only highest calibre programs which demonstrate the best standards in teaching, curriculum, and student interaction achieve accreditation. Unlike many business education accreditation bodies it focuses in detail on individual programs (MBAs, DBAs, and Masters in business and management) rather than whole institutions. Three of IÉSEG’s programs have been evaluated and accredited by AMBA: its two MBA programs (Executive MBA and International MBA) and its Master of Science in International Business.

By obtaining the Association of MBAs (AMBA) accreditation, IÉSEG School of Management today joins an elite group of international business schools (less than 1% in the world) that hold the “triple crown” of international accreditations (AMBA, AACSB, EQUIS).

Entering international students with outstanding credentials are automatically reviewed for merit based scholarships.
