Youth International South America (Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador)

Overall rating: 0 based on 0 reviews

Program Description

Join a small peer group, along with two leaders, to travel through Bolivia, Peru, and Ecuador for three months. It is a unique way to explore some of the world, open your mind, and challenge who you think you are.

Since 1997, Youth International has provided many people with the most exciting, fulfilling and educational experience of their life. Cultural immersion is achieved through home stays with local families and time spent in communities taking part in a variety of community service projects. There is also an exciting outdoor adventure component, which includes trekking in the Andes and in the Amazon Rainforest, exploring the Galapagos Islands, white-water rafting, and more... Participants travel using local trains and buses, carrying backpacks, and staying in simple hostels and home stays. Through this unique combination of experiences, each participant is set up to gain a first-hand understanding of a variety of different cultures and communities, and to give back to them. It is also a tremendous amount of fun!

Dates for the next South America program are: February 15 to May 9, 2018. Applications are also being accepted for the fall 2018 program: September 12 to December 4, 2018. Full daily program itineraries can be viewed on the Youth International website.
