Program Description

Become a volunteer with OGVO Volunteer and Tours based in Ghana. You will be able to plan volunteer opportunities around your school breaks or even with your home institution. We create customized programs for groups, high schools, and universities. We want you to have a positive learning experience out in the world while you help to improve communities in Ghana. We can tailor programs to specific interests and backgrounds while also working to broaden your world view. This is a comprehensive program that will allow students to volunteer and make a difference in the world while gaining field experience. We are excited to work with you or your teacher, professor, or group leader in order to create an individualized itinerary to help accomplish your goals. University groups can choose from any of our Volunteer / Intern projects in Ghana. Our Conservation & Environment Projects are perfect for Geography, Zoology, Biology students who are looking to get some practical experience out in the field. Those pursuing English or Media Studies will flourish on one of our Journalism internships.
Our Sports projects are a great way for Sports and Sports Medicine students to gain experience of sports development. We have placements for Creative & Performing Arts students and Language Courses for students interested in cultural immersion, not to mention a host of Medical & Healthcare placements for aspiring doctors, physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, midwives, dentist etc

What`s Included

Participation Fees Covers The Following:

- Airports pick up and hotel transfer – Participants rest the first night in Accra
- Transportation from Accra to project site – All round transportation from the beginning to the end of the program
- Accommodation from the beginning to the end of the program. All youngsters live with host family in a big house for the duration of volunteer work and hotel for the duration of tours
- Three (3) times daily African dishes/continental meals
- In-country introduction
- Introduction to host family and program
- Placement and supervision in program
- Support/24 hour back up from OGVO
