Program Description
Cross the country on this 85-day exhibition, from the Caribbean Sea to the Pacific Ocean. Pick up Spanish language, culture, and traditions as you immerse yourself at rural homestays along your 26-day journey on foot through the spectacular valleys and rainforests of Costa Rica. Raft exhilarating whitewater rapids, sea kayak through a tropical archipelago, and surf the waves of the Pacific. Engage with your coursemates on challenges in the field, and with the locals at indigenous communities in Panama and community service projects in Nicaragua. Earn up to 12 academic credits as well as First Aid and CPR certifications upon successful completion of the course.
