Program Description

Become a volunteer with Sankalp Volunteer Society, India and make a change in the local community. We welcome students, families, groups, couples, and individuals.

We are a leading volunteer and gap year provider who are skilled at offering worthwhile programs. We run programs in both urban and rural areas in five separate locations in India. We focus primarily on helping remote and underprivileged areas. However, these areas are linked to famous sites and areas of importance. You will have a chance to experience a rich culture and diverse customs during your time as a volunteer.

We offer programs that run from 1 week all the way to 12 months. Our programs start throughout the year so that they accommodate your schedule. The exception is our Travel combined volunteer programs which are set on a specific start date. You will be greeted upon arrival in the country and given an orientation as we guide you through your program of choice.

Qualifications

The only qualification that we require of our volunteers is that you come motivated to help needy people.
We happily accommodate singles, couples and groups.
If you are comfortable with your level of English, it's probably good enough for us as well.
For this particular project only female volunteers are allowed.
The minimum require age is 16 years+ and the maximum depends on participant’s health.
