Program Description

Choose from Teaching English, Arts, Crafts, Sports to amazing Thai school children. Or come and help improve their surroundings on our school development program. Absolutely no experience is required and daily project support is provided by experienced program coordinators.

Come to join us on the stunning island of Koh Samui located in the Gulf of Thailand. Help us to improve the lives of hundreds of kids from poor families who give them the chance to grow and develop with genuine life-changing goals. Improving their English will genuinely give them the opportunity to work in the booming local tourism industry, guarantee them a decent income and not only help them, but also their families and community.

Choose to help teach these kids or to develop the school, the grounds and make this a place that the entire community will be proud of. Our aim is to give these kids a real chance to escape to the humdrum and to do so in surroundings that are safe, hygienic and healthy. With almost zero financial support from the government and the community, the school has become old and rundown very quickly. Our aim is to give these kids a bright and fun place to learn, help to focus their minds on education and keep them hygienic and safe at the same time. We've also started an organic vegetable garden to encourage a healthier diet - the produce grown here is used in the kids meals.

Qualifications

No Experience is required as our volunteers are accompanied each and every day by our team of highly experienced and English speaking project coordinators. They will not only help you in the classroom, or on the development work, but they will also go through lesson planning, classroom control, lesson ideas and structures and give you all of the help you need.

Any volunteers who have any relevant experience are also most definitely welcome. Let us know what qualifications or experience you have and we'll make sure to put it and you to good use.
