Program Description
Work with Experience Mamoni's team to support all the various projects, workshops, visiting groups, and researchers that our organization can juggle on a daily basis. We seek passionate people who will contribute their time for the exchange of a truly unique learning experience that can rival any volunteering experience. We offer one of a kind opportunities for volunteers who see what the beauty of Panama has to offer.
With a playground of nearly 12,000 acres in one of the world's top 20 ecological hot spots. Projects could have you visiting indigenous Guna island communities or more remote, tribal villages in the jungle. Modes of transport in the valley are by foot, horse, or truck.
Our organization is growing rapidly and we need more motivated volunteers to help our team continue touching the lives of others. You will spend your time living at our off-grid and sustainable jungle facilities in the Mamoní Valley where you'll never know what famous or up and coming environmental, organizational, or indigenous leader will show up next.
Our facilities have wi-fi, satellite phone, running water, laundry facilities, full kitchen and 110v electricity. Spend your weekends chilling out in the jungle pool (also used to teach local kids swimming lessons and play games), exploring the preserve, or tap into our network that can provide you with opportunities such as seeing indigenous Guna communities on the Caribbean islands.
