Program Description

Become a volunteer and work with children in Romania. You will be a part of the community as you teach English and help orphans and those with special needs. No matter which placement you decide, you will be working with wonderful children.

The Children’s Home is where we work during school holidays. We often help with chores and teach English to the staff and children. There are also Holiday Clubs in our local communities that have all types of children from all backgrounds including those with special needs.

These holiday placements feature English as the mode of communication but with translation. We also include informal and formal English courses that cover pronunciation, performance arts, writing, singing, and grammar. You might also instruct the staff in order to help them benefit the children.

Many of the tasks that need to be done at the Children’ Home include decorating, gardening, cleaning, and ironing, We also assist the children with homework and find fun activities to do during holidays that include dance, music, trips, games, sports, and arts and crafts. Feel free to be creative and find new and engaging activities!
