Program Description

Volunteer in India with United Planet, get immersed in the vibrant culture, and foster meaningful relationships with the local people. During your volunteer project in India, you will see an endless array of natural wonders: sacred rivers, beaches, and the foothills of the Himalayas. You will also get to know some of the nicest people you have ever met.

As a volunteer, you will have an opportunity to participate in different projects. If your main interest is education, you can assist children and youth in gaining practical skills for the future. Activities include organizing music, sports, computer training, and language classes. If you are more interested in social work, you can help homeless people who suffer from poverty and health problems.

United Planet is working with International Cultural Youth Exchange (ICYE) for its long-term programs. As a volunteer, you will be hosted by ICYE India, which is ICYE’s Indian partner organization.
