Proyecto Peru offers fun and meaningful volunteer programs in historic Cusco.
Our community-based volunteer projects are focused on aiding underprivileged populations including street children, orphans, troubled youth, and the elderly. To do so, we partner with a variety of organizations including public schools, international non-profits, health centers, orphanages, and elderly homes.
Depending on your chosen program, you can gain experience in non-profit management, education, child development,physiotherapy, sports, hostel assistance, medical care, social work, and tourism. Proyecto Volunteering Centre allows volunteers to make an impact in the areas that they work with. All of our volunteer programs come with a Spanish course as well as accommodation. You will also be able to take part in fun activities with fellow volunteers during your time in Cusco. We also can prepare excursions for our volunteers.
Internships and volunteer placements run Monday through Friday and typically require 3 to 4 hours per day. Volunteers should be willing to devote at least four consequetive weeks to the program.

Qualifications
Requirements to do volunteer work with Proyecto Peru:- A minimum of 4 weeks volunteering
- At least 20 hours of a Spanish course with Proyecto Peru or use of one of our accomodations (homestay or shared apartment)
- A project donation of $50 USD for the project you are volunteering in. You donate this directly to the project.
