Program Description

Ghana has a rich history and is home to people from many different backgrounds. Although the official language is English, there are more than 250 dialects spoken across the country. Ghana has a tropical climate and varied but gorgeous landscapes - from sandy beaches to dense rain forests. Volunteering in Ghana will give you the chance to become immersed in the culture and engage with the people. You'll be able to assist medical staff in a hospital or health clinic, teach students in local schools, or volunteer with children in an orphanage!


Global Health: Volunteer in a teaching hospital in the city or a rural health clinic
Teaching Quest: Teach English to students in primary or secondary school
Orphanage Quest: Volunteer with children at a local orphanage


At least 18 years old, fluent in English.
