Program Description
Join our affordable program and explore the volunteer opportunities in Ghana. This 501©(3) nonprofit organization is a charity that helps to provide support for underprivileged communities through design and arts. Work with us in Abetenim, an arts village that we are creating that will serve as a space for creative individuals to learn, work, and, live. We are creating the village through sustainable methods while instilling our own aesthetic. We also reach out to local schools and communities through education and community initiative programs.
We need volunteers to assist with empowering women, training youths in valuable skills, job training, coaching sports, teaching computer literacy, exploring farming/agricultural solutions, construction, sanitation and water, and teaching. We especially welcome those who are involved in the arts to teach students about painting murals, puppetry, dancing, music, storytelling, and theatre. We also welcome those who are familiar with construction.
