Program Description

Workcamps are organized in different regions of Turkey throughout the year for 1-2 weeks. Projects are varied from organizing free time social activities for disadvantaged kids or youth, practising, & teaching English by in&outdoor activities, planting trees, renovating public buildings, paving village roads, washing schools, harvesting olives, weeding, beach cleaning, etc. Camp language is English.

No direct applications accepted from countries where GENCTUR has a partner organisation. Applicants should contact with our partners in their home country. Their contacts are available after you inquire.

Highlights

Our projects offer close contact opportunities with the local communities.
It is a good chance for cultural exchange and understanding.

Qualifications

No skills is required except some specific projects.

What`s Included

Volunteers work 6 days a week and 6 hours a day in different type of projects for 1-2 weeks.
They receive free board and lodging during the work camp.
Volunteers cover their own travel and insurance.
