Program Description

The orphanage is located in the Sing Buri Province in Thailand. The orphanage houses local orphaned, children and has their own integrated primary and secondary school. The school is also open for local, impoverished families. The orphanage is a bit outdated, so volunteers have a variety of responsibilities. When working in the school, volunteers will help teach the children and assist with after school programs. There is also a small vegetable garden for the children, which volunteers will help take care of. You will also help with light construction work and renovations to help improve the overall quality of the orphanage. The orphanage encourages volunteers to bring new and innovated ideas to be implemented at the orphanage.

Qualifications

Minimum age 17 years old
Good level of English
Willingness to work with children and learn about new cultures
Good level of physical fitness and ability to work in hot and humid climates
Immunizations (please consult your doctor)

Accommodation: Eco lodge campus 2 - 4 people per room
