Project Description

As a volunteer with Frontier Thailand Teaching Programme, you will instruct students and help them increase their English abilities by using innovative teaching methods.

Being a successful teacher means that you must create a friendship with your students build on trust and confidence. This will allow you to create an international community where you can go to local festivals or explore the countryside or even just participate in fun activities.

This opportunity is absolutely free. All that is required is your enthusiasm and commitment.

Volunteer Duties

You will have a two week training period in Singburi at the beginning of your placement. This training course will cover teaching techniques and will introduce you to Thai society. You will interact with students from nearby schools and will have the opportunity to watch lessons taught by Thai instructors and other foreign teachers. You will also have the chance to practice your teaching technique with your peers and with local students.

At the completion of this course, you will be given a teaching certificate. Our on-site coordinators will assist you in finding a teaching position at a local school where your duties will include 20-30 hours of instruction each week. You will create your own lessons plans and be able to have plenty of time to explore Thailand. Make this your new home and fall in love with the Thai people and culture.
