Program Description

Help facilitate and develop conversational English language classes with the Sudan Volunteer Programme (SVP). This opportunity is open to Native English Speakers and takes place in Sudan.

Hundreds of volunteers have taught at public universities in Sudan after SVP launched 18 years ago. We have collaborated with the Sudanese Ministry of Higher Education to improve listening and speaking abilities by complementing English language courses with our programme. SVP facilitates intercultural exchange along with the teaching aspect of the programme. Sudan has a fascinating culture filled with poetry, music, and food with plenty to offer for those interested in exploring. We encourage volunteers to experience this vibrant lifestyle firsthand.
