Live with locals and build long lasting friendships! Learn about sustainable and economical practices while helping protect the surrounding cloud forest. Immerse yourself in a Costa Rican community by working on sustainable coffee farms.

It is also safe for travelers to visit and is well known for its natural beauty (beaches, rivers, waterfalls, volcanoes), and for being the happiest country in the world with its warm people. Costa Rica is well known for its stable democracy and peaceful traditions. Learn and improve your Spanish in a fun, practical and meaningful way!

The idea is that students will be living an experience with nature and in a small rural community at the same time they are improving their languages skills. Technology will be allowed only at certain times during the trip to communicate with friends and family. This program is designed so students will be unplugged from their technological devices as much as possible.
