Spanish and Volunteer in Buenos Aires

Program Description

Participants of Expanish’s program have the opportunity to take classes as they volunteer. Program participants will be able to study Spanish and become prepared for the numerous volunteer opportunities available. This helps to support the local community and boost language learning.

Since 2001, there has been a rise in levels of poverty as well as a lack of funding for community development, public services, and education. Programs have been developed by non-governmental organizations in order to strengthen the community and stimulate community growth.

Buenos Aires is a city rich in cultural and vibrant in all of the recreational offerings. From the bohemian and tango-inspired San Telmo neighborhood t the lively streets of La Boca, Buenos Aires is the perfect destination for you to improve your Spanish abilities while giving back to the local community as a volunteer.

There are many options for your Volunteer Program: Teaching English, Working with Unprivileged Youth, Volunteer with Senior Citizens, Fundraising, Social Services, Environment Volunteering, Tutoring and Academic Support and Helping People with Disabilities.

Qualifications

- Commitment: Average of 15 Hours per Week
- Age Requirement: 18 and Up
- Spanish Level: Opportunities available for all Spanish levels
