Soccer Volunteer Coaches

Program Description

Volunteer in local communities and help impoverished local children develop their skills and passion for football/soccer. Ghana boasts an impressive local talent for soccer skills as seen in the 2006 FIFA World Cup and by being a quarter finalist in the 2010 World Cup. Be a part of the movement that helps to develop these abilities further!

As a volunteer with this program, there are many chances to help with aiding the academy’s coach. Assist in teaching training drills, game preparation, coordination skills, and skill development as well as helping out during competitions and organizing training sessions. This is an important role for volunteers to teach within local schools or the academy, be a part of local tournaments and football competitions, help with health requirements and issues, and teach about football tactics.

Help to nurture football talents in rural communities as you develop the sport of football/soccer in Ghana through the Rural Football Development program.
