Become a volunteer with Volunteer Community Nepal and work with many orphanages located in Nepal. This is an ideal opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of hundreds of abandoned children and orphans who roam Kathmandu’s streets. These children easily fall prey to becoming street children and child laborers. VCN is working to ensure that these children have the childhood they need and feel safe and secure. Volunteers will work in one of the orphanages that are collaborating with VCN to help these children receive support and care.
Volunteers can start on the 1st and the 15th of each month. We will provide basic Nepali language classes. Help to teach these orphans English.

Highlights
Flexible start date of the 1st and the 15th of each month.You will be enrolled in basic Nepali language courses 2 to 3 times each day.
Teach English and be a tutor while mentoring orphans.
Help homeless, abandoned, and orphaned children aged 3 to 15.
This position requires 3 to 5 hours of work each day for 6 days each week.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications and Skills: High School / No formal schooling and experiences neededLanguage Requirements: English (Basic Nepali will be provided)
