Music Education

Program Description

We are seeking volunteers to work in schools and community groups within Arusha, Tanzania. Our music program includes teaching guitar, music theory, elements of hip-hop, music production, drums, vocals. Get to work with some of the best musicians in Tanzania. You will be working alongside local hip-hop and reggae MCs, artists, and community members apart of the Arusha Arts Collective (Sanaa Pamoja Arusha) to help them spread their knowledge. This collective is created to educate, inspire, and ultimately produce a new generation of future artists, musicians, and creative minds. Respect for local cultures, open mind and flexibility are a must. Tanzania is a developing country and this can be challenging to participants who need a lot of structure in the schedule.
