As a volunteer with this program, you will be able to be an instructor in Santa Cruz at a public school as you teach conversational English. This schools has children aged 4 to 14 and there are over 650 who attend from preschool all the way to 7th grade. Your duties will cover the developmental needs of the children as you help with recreation and English classes. Lessons are held from 7 AM to 1 PM from Monday to Friday.
There are also placements in a multilingual education facility. This was developed to provide education to island children, particularly those who came or migrated with their families from indigenous communities. Children are aged 4 to 11 and there are around 100 children in primary or basic education and 30 preschool students.

Qualifications
Project length: 2 weeks or 4 weeksProject dates: March to December. Choose any date to arrive
Arrival Airport: Quito (UIO)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 8 hours per day
Requirements: Proficiency in Spanish
Age Limits: Minimum 18yrs or older for solo travelers.
Minimum Age: 12 to 17 yrs if traveling with parents.

Vaccinations: Routine Vac, Hep-A and Typhoid
