ETIV do Brasil is seeking fundraising and grant writing volunteers or interns to help us diversify our funding sources through a variety of methods. This can include planning and organizing local and/or online fundraising events, researching and applying for grants, and helping us to find private and business donors. You will receive support and training from our Fundraising Coordinator or from the director when a Coordinator is not available. Knowledge and experience with fundraising, grant writing and event organizing is highly desirable but not required. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience fundraising for a international NGO/Non profit that is making a positive difference on the coast of Bahia, Brazil.

Qualifications
Fundraising volunteers must dedicate at least 1 month's time commitment to the project. Volunteers and interns that are willing and able to dedicate at least 6 months time commitment to the project may apply for a grant with the NGO to have their volunteer contribution waved. The grant is designed to allow low income students who would otherwise not be able to afford to volunteer with us, all the benefits of volunteering with our NGO free of charge (e.g. life insurance, a tour of Itacare, an induction to the NGO, training in your project, ongoing supervision and support and 24 hr emergency support). However, all volunteers and interns must pay the $67 administration fee to cover legal costs.Volunteer Types

ETIV do Brasil is located in the beautiful fishing and surfing town of Itacare, in SouthEastern Bahia. Our mission is to connect international volunteers with local communities to support environmental conservation and development in Brazil. We also offer housing at our ETIV volunteer house as well as Portuguese and Capoeira classes. We can also link volunteers to discounted eco-adventure tours to the stunning beaches, islands and waterfalls in and around Itacare.
