Program Description
This program is ideal for students and researches who are interested in Eco volunteering in Egypt. Habiba Organic Farm volunteers learn and participate in organic desert planting. They are taught how to properly plant seeds, harvest plants, and learn how to make compost from raw organic materials and tea composting. The organization also teaches different ways to develop an Eco-friendly way of using the earth's natural resources. Volunteers either live in the farm or at the beach lodge and enjoy adventurous activities such as swimming, snorkeling, hiking, and mountain climbing.
Highlights
We are making a great effort to turn the desert into a fertile land, in benefit of the Bedouin community that lives over the settlemen, in order to guarantee the food security for the new generations. Our farm is open to the community and serves as an example with the purpose that all of them will transform their land into organic farms too.
