Program Description

Project begins on July 1st, 2015

Volunteers will build up personal strengths and abilities in working and living in new environments while contributed to local communities. Work on activities to promote dialogue and intercultural learning volunteers develop activities to engage local youth and promote tolerance and diversity to other cultures.

Volunteers with this Cultural Exchange Program will be able to have a meaningful vacation with CVW. Volunteers will experience more than most tourists off the beaten path as you become immersed in the local culture and a diversity of cultures from around the world.

Volunteers will be able to introduce local youth to different cultures while sharing their own cultures, history, and traditions.

Participant responsibilities:

1- Preparing courses and programs on culture for youth that are interested in the volunteers’ cultures and intercultural dialogue will be the primary task. These programs will help to promote the volunteers’ academic fields and interests, languages, traditions, and cultures. This will improve cultural exchange through informal methods. This program’s main purpose is to make young individuals more tolerant and open-minded while being introduced to other cultures.

2- Create games fostering increasing interest in different cultures and building up intercultural dialogue. Volunteers will work together to develop all of the activities in the program.

Free Time:

During your time off-site or before or after your program, you will have time to travel around the local region alongside helping endangered ecosystems and disadvantaged communities.
