Program Description

1. This is a one to six month program on Climate Compliance. This is a decade long conference that began in 2012 and will run to 2021 in order to make St. Vincent and the Grenadines the world’s first Climate Compliant Nation. The meaning of Climate Compliance is to be ready for climate change by being carbon neutral and having a secure healthy food source. Study about sustainability, biodiversity, organic farming, and Global Warming. Help to develop Richmond Vale Academy as a sustainable community by helping to produce TV and radio programs, organizing beach clean ups, teaching in schools, planting trees, and beginning model gardens.

2. This is an 18 month program that encourages participants to work with poverty-stricken communities while earning an A-certificate from One World University. The first six months of the program is spent studying the causes and contributors to poverty as well as methods for creating a sustainable solution. Work with the NGO Humana People to People for six months as you work with local communities in Ecuador and Belize. The final six months of the program will be spent with you sharing your experiences to mobilize action through talks in schools, internet outreaches, and through the TV and radio. This is called “The Journal Period” and will also be when you complete your final exams as you also work towards bringing attention to poor communities.
