Program Description
Selected volunteers will work with the beautiful Cheetah, the world's fastest land mammal and one of Africa's most treasured cats. Situated in the Strand you'll lend a hand in broader efforts to support Cheetah conservation, with tasks that include educating visitors. You'll also have the chance to get up close and personal with the site's resident cheetahs.
- Assist in the day-to-day care of the animals, including meal preparation
- Help educate visitors to the facility about animal conservation and the nature of the Cheetah
- Take care of the Anatolian dogs on site, cleaning up feeding areas and holding enclosures
- Host project guests, including introducing them to the cheetahs

- An enthusiastic personality with a genuine compassion for animal welfare- Commitment to a 5-day work week on a rotation basis, volunteering from 9am to 5.15pm (6pm in the summer months)
- Minimum 6-week time commitment
- For safety reasons you must have at least an advanced (C1) level of English
- Signed Volunteer Placement Agreement
