Program Description

Volunteer with IVHQ and learn about a range of program around Ghana, specifically in the Accra region. Every 1st and 15th of the month is when program start. Programs run from 1 week to 24 weeks and you will be placed with 15 to 30 fellow volunteers. Inquire for more information on the volunteer programs available. Programs include medical, teaching, and agricultural initiatives.

Qualifications

Volunteers need to be 18 years or over to participate, unless volunteering with a parent or guardian. All volunteers are required to have adequate volunteeer travel insurance and provide a criminal background check to IVHQ's local team on arrival in Ghana. Volunteers on the Medical Project in Ghana must be qualified medical professionals or have completed at least two years of medical training and provide a copy of their medical qualifications, or a letter and transcript from their school to be provided to staff in Ghana on arrival. Midwives are also able to work within one of our rural clinics on this project.
