Program Description
With this 10-month program, we join hands with activists all over the world to fight for sustainable development and the eradication of poverty in some of the poorest regions of the world. We believe that this kind of activism is needed more than ever, and we invite you to join a team of likeminded people for an action-based and fast paced program, learning and creating positive change through humanitarian work.
Study & Action Program
Program Structure
Period 1–3months: Training at RichmondValeAcademy in St. Vincent
Period 2–6months: Volunteer in Belize or Ecuador
Period 3 – 1 month: Conclusion and information period in St. Vincent

Field Work Certification from Humana People to People
Certification of Completion from Richmond Vale Academy
Period One is based at Richmond Vale Academy in St. Vincent. Studies will include global affairs, political science, international and economic development. Methods will include group and individual studies, lectures, investigations and discussions within a team.
You will also take part in projects and receive leadership and practical training to develop a variety of skills directly needed during the subsequent project period in Belize or Ecuador
In Trios your team will be posted at a project in Belize or Ecuador. Projects in the respective country focus on creating change in farming, education and health.

You will live in an environment based on community. We produce our food, cook, clean and run the school as a collective. You will be engaged in learning sessions, studies, presentations, volunteer work and more.Hike the Volcano La Soufriere
Qualifications
As you train to become a development instructor you will be challenged to stretch your mind and understanding the world. As you train to become a development instructor you will learn about empowering the poor to create a sustainable future.The only demands are a decent knowledge of the English language, as it is the language you’ll use during the time at the school.
